Hi! I'm Kirsten.
Pronounced Kur-stin
I get to do what I love for a living, and for that I am grateful. I take pride in being extremely reliable, adaptable, and accurate as a writer. I enjoy problem solving — I'm good at putting myself in others' shoes, writing with empathy, and thinking critically. My modus operandi is being kind, being an autonomous self-starter, and making myself as helpful and useful as possible to my company, my team, and the customer.

I also love to travel (50+ countries across 6 continents so far!), do fine art photography, and write creatively (novels, short stories, plays, and more).

I'm endlessly curious, a pro-level nerd. I watch far too many documentaries. My yearly book-reading goal is 30. Podcasts are my jam (psychology, writing, science, history, finance, and philosophy). I was also interviewed on a photography podcast. I'm a wine and film aficionado. I enjoy health-nut stuff like strength training, meditation, and yoga.
Museums are my happy place :-)
A FEW KIND WORDS
Rachel Dady
Sr. Creative Lead, DoorDash
Working with Kirsten has been an absolute gift. She's a rare kind of copywriter — one who thrives on taking intricate business challenges and translating them into clean, thoughtful language. Her craft is honed, and her instincts are spot on. She's also the steady hand that every fast-moving team hopes for. No matter how tight a timeline, she consistently impresses teammates with how much she can get done, and how well. But beyond her talent and work ethic, Kirsten is simply a joy to collaborate with: kind, positive, and trustworthy. Kirsten shows up, steps up, and just makes everything better. If you have the chance to work with her, take it.
Pamela Bryant
Sr. Product Marketing Writer, StitchFix
Kirsten is a talented, well-rounded writer, who thinks critically and methodically. She has the ability to view the big picture in a holistic way, guiding the work, while also shining a light on potential risk and pain points early on. She works hard to fuse together two teams—product and creative—and not only owns all of the UX copy, but takes on the responsibility of relaying information to both functions, thereby improving work flow. Kirsten is an incredibly hard worker who understands the balance between doing amazing work and meeting rapid deadlines. She's creative, a team player, efficient with her time, nimble and most importantly, kind.
Alison Pham
Product Marketing Manager, DoorDash
Kirsten is a great collaborator and copywriter whom I've had the pleasure of working with as a PMM. She can digest any brief—no matter how complicated—ask the right questions, and quickly turn around copy that is clear, concise, and on-brand. Her knack for communicating shows up in how she builds strong interpersonal relationships at work as well as her ability to translate complex or difficult topics into clear, user-centric marketing copy. At DoorDash, everyone knew they could always count on Kirsten. She's a positive, flexible, and creative problem-solver who will bring a lot of value to any team.
